We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently locate, pick, and prepare customer orders for shipment. This involves using RF scanners or pick lists to identify items, navigating through warehouse aisles, and carefully selecting the correct quantities of products. Strong attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and maintain inventory accuracy. You will be expected to adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product information and quantities.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
