We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate for our Washington, D.C. facility. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and efficiency. - Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and care.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, free from safety hazards.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, which may involve lifting heavy items.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred. Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic understanding of inventory control principles. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all protocols. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be reliable and punctual.
