Join our team as a Receiving Clerk in Los Angeles, California! We are seeking organized and proactive individuals to manage the inflow of goods into our distribution center. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper documentation. Your role is crucial for maintaining inventory integrity and supporting the overall logistics operations. You'll be responsible for unloading trucks, verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damages, and entering data into our inventory system. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks efficiently and safely.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect products for any damage or defects and report discrepancies.
- Accurately enter receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Tag and label incoming merchandise for proper storage.
