We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Denver, Colorado. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring timely and correct fulfillment of all orders. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing RF scanners and other warehouse equipment to locate and retrieve products from shelves. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated locations using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely for shipment, applying appropriate packaging materials.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding any discrepancies or issues.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse logistics and efficient picking strategies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
