This role is integral to our supply chain, focusing on the accurate and efficient preparation of customer orders for shipment. You will be responsible for picking products from warehouse shelves and carefully packing them to ensure they arrive at their destination in perfect condition. Responsibilities:
- Pick correct items and quantities from inventory using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Operate packing equipment and machinery safely.
- Maintain an organized and clean packing station.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Perform Lifting of items weighing up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Contribute to overall team goals within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to perform consistent Lifting tasks.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move for the duration of the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
