We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associate in Richmond, Virginia. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of our warehouse operations, contributing to the seamless flow of our logistics. Your duties will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the physical ability to handle materials and perform lifting tasks. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all associates are expected to follow strict safety protocols and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy.
- Stock received goods in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals within logistics.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for the duration of the shift.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Understanding of safety best practices and willingness to use PPE.
