Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting regular inventory audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions. Your work will directly impact our logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management systems, a strong analytical mindset, and excellent organizational skills. You must be comfortable with physical tasks including lifting items for inspection and maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and utilizing appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using our WMS.
  • Conduct cycle counts and full physical inventories to verify stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure seamless logistics.
  • Identify and report any damaged or expired stock.
  • Adhere strictly to safety regulations and utilize all required PPE.
  • Perform physical checks which may involve lifting and moving items for accurate counts.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software (WMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical dexterity, including lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
