This position is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. A strong focus on safety is paramount; you will be trained on and expected to follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves frequent lifting, moving, and organizing of packages, so physical stamina and the ability to handle various weights are important. You will work closely with other team members and supervisors to meet daily shipping and receiving targets. Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders
- Inspect goods for damage or shortages
- Accurately document and process incoming and outgoing shipments
- Pick, pack, and label outgoing orders for shipment
- Stage shipments for carrier pickup
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use required PPE
