Lead our warehouse operations as a Warehouse Supervisor in Seattle, Washington! In this critical role, you will manage a team of warehouse associates, delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and training. While direct manual labor may be less frequent, the ability to assist with lifting and understand the physical demands of warehouse work is beneficial. Experience in warehouse supervision, strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), and a commitment to workplace safety are essential. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and staff
- Delegate tasks and monitor the performance of warehouse associates
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of all warehouse functions (receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping)
- Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits
- Train and develop warehouse staff, providing constructive feedback
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency
- Communicate effectively with other departments and management
