Purpose of Job
The Product Owner (PO) is responsible for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the Agile development team. Acting as the voice of the customer and business, the PO defines the product vision, manages the product backlog, and ensures that the team delivers features that meet business objectives and user needs.

Product Strategy & Vision
Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather customer insights to inform product decisions.
Ensure the product strategy supports overall business objectives and KPIs.
Backlog Ownership
Create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, ROI, and customer impact.
- Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that are clear, testable, and actionable.
Continuously groom the backlog to ensure readiness for upcoming sprints.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related questions and decisions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, UX designers, and technical teams to align on priorities.
Manage expectations and communicate progress, risks, and changes effectively.
Delivery & Execution
Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Make real-time decisions to unblock development and clarify requirements.
- Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria and ensure quality standards.
- Performance Monitoring
- Track product performance using analytics, customer feedback, and KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous product enhancements.
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on product progress and outcomes.
- Perform other duties as requested or as needed to fulfill the purpose of the job.

- Meet all performance and behavior expectations outlined in the company performance appraisal form or communicated by management.
- Perform responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism.
- Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers and business partners.
- Demonstrate the behavioral and technical competencies necessary to effectively complete job responsibilities. Take personal initiative for technical and professional development.
- Follow the company HR Policy, the Code of Business Conduct and all subsidiary and department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company information, attending work punctually and regularly, and following good safety practices in all activities.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field.
Experience
- 3–5 years as a Product Owner or in product management within an Agile environment.
- Proven success in delivering digital products or enterprise applications.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps preferred.
- Familiarity with UX principles and customer-centric design preferred.
- Background in real estate, mortgage, title/settlement services, or insurance preferred.
Knowledge And Skills
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
Wage:
$95, $116,000.00 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for annual discretionary bonus.
