Job Summary.
We have 2 Openings from 1:30pm-10:00pm, 2 from 9:30pm-6:00am, 2 from 7:00am-4:00pm, and 2 from 4pm-1:00am.
Join our dynamic team as a Loader-Standard Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our warehouse operations In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and moving materials within our distribution center using standard forklifts and heavy equipment. Your expertise will ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes, accurate order picking, and safe materials handling. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of warehouse equipment, contribute to a fast-paced environment, and support the overall flow of goods through our facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate standard forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments.
- Perform order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, or storage areas while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by handling materials with care during heavy lifting and precise placement.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following OSHA safety standards to prevent accidents or injuries.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or similar roles within a warehouse environment.
- Valid forklift certification with experience operating standard forklifts; familiarity with clamp trucks and crane operation is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations including OSHA standards.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs or troubleshooting on heavy equipment.
- Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and other materials handling technologies.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety procedures.
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, construction environments, or warehouse supervision is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking and inventory control.
