Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver

The position of Delivery driver and warehouse worker is responsible for all aspects of the delivery process and warehouse work. Which include preparation of product for customer will calls, next day delivery orders and direct communication with customers while Safely driving and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area.
Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered.
Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times

When and if all deliveries for the day are done, you will assist in the warehouse doing the following tasks.

• Collecting merchandise from the back of the store and safely handling materials to the designated locations.
• Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return.
• Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
• Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
• Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
• Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
• Assisting with training of newly employed workers.
• Checking labels to ensure products are stocked in the right destination.
• Pack orders properly for shipment
• Throw away trash recyclables pallets and reels in a designated area.
• Maintain shelves, aisle, parking, wire room, and back yard clean stocked and safe.

Competencies:

Basic math skills and reasoning skills.
Ability to understand and execute instruction.
Must be able to multitask
Essential customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
Willing to learn and work in a team environment with a commitment to punctuality,

Qualifications:

High School diploma, GED or equivalent
Experience is a plus
Ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Position requires climbing of ladders.

Company Vehicle Provided No CDL Required
Approximate hours are 6:30 am to 5 pm. Shifts are 10 hours + per day Overtime SATURDAY SUNDAY OFF FEDERAL HOLIDAY PAID FOR
