Pharmacy Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This 1099 role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle using equipment.
• Ensure that all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while adhering to traffic regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including moving items and organizing inventory.

Qualifications

• Must own your own vehicle
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Full Time Monday-Friday 8 hour shifts
• Previous experience in commercial driving or as a courier is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
