Project Manager – Global Youth Ambassador Program

About the World Literacy Foundation

The World Literacy Foundation is a global nonprofit organisation dedicated to eradicating illiteracy and ensuring that every child, regardless of background or geography, has access to quality education and literacy resources. We believe literacy is a fundamental human right and a powerful driver of social and economic progress.

Since our founding, we have grown into a dynamic international organisation delivering impactful literacy programs, advocacy campaigns, and partnerships across multiple continents. As we continue to expand, we are building a committed, high-performing team of professionals and changemakers working together to create a world where everyone can read and write.

About the Role

At the heart of our work is the Global Youth Ambassador (YA) Program, a fast-growing network of young leaders advocating for literacy and education as a human right. We are seeking a Project Manager to support the effective delivery, coordination, and continuous improvement of this flagship initiative.

This role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, experience working with youth or community programs, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

The Youth Ambassador Program currently includes more than 1,500 ambassadors across 90+ countries and continues to grow. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, ambassadors, volunteers, and partners to ensure the program delivers meaningful, measurable impact.
