Barista

Job Overview:
We're looking for a friendly, passionate, and reliable Barista to join our team As a Barista, you'll be the face of our coffee experience, creating exceptional beverages and providing excellent customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining the highest quality standards while ensuring a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, espresso drinks, and teas according to company recipes and customer preferences
• Ensure consistent quality of all drinks and products, adhering to company standards
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and taking orders
• Handle cash and process payments accurately using the POS system
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace, ensuring the coffee station, tables, and seating areas are tidy
• Restock and replenish inventory as needed (coffee beans, syrups, cups, etc.)
• Monitor product quality and freshness, communicating inventory needs to the manager
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including sanitation and food safety practices
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including cleaning and prepping for the next shift
• Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive and efficient work environment

Qualifications:

• Prior barista or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso-based drinks is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Friendly, positive attitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
• Food Protection Certificate
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a busy environment
