Job Description:
LPM Restaurant & Bar is seeking polished and professional Hosts/Hostesses to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate is warm, organized, and guest-focused, with a strong ability to manage reservations and create a welcoming first impression.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the waitlist efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing accurate information and taking reservations as needed
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest relations
• Assist with guest services including special requests or accommodations
• Support hospitality efforts by maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times

Skills

• Prior host/host experience in a restaurant setting preferred
• Strong background in food service and guest relations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar software
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and hospitality standards
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Experience in hotel or guest services is a plus
• Ability to work well with team members and maintain professionalism under pressure
