Location: Essex.
My client designs and manufactures a range of fabricated products and they are looking to take on a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Qualifications
Degree qualification or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Aided Design.
Proficient with SolidWorks CAD software.
Previous experience in a similar mechanical design role within the manufacturing sector.
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
Work within the existing design engineering team.
Produce solid models and drawings using SolidWorks CAD software.
Create necessary documentation for the designs, including BOMs.
Carry out engineering calculations when required.
Liaise with other colleagues.
Provide technical assistance to customers and suppliers when needed.
