Hotel du Vin Poole is a former Mansion House, an elegant Georgian hotel in Poole’s Old Town featuring 38 beautifully styled bedrooms and suites, a lovely sun terrace, and Bistro du Vin serving classical French dishes with a modern twist.
Hotel du Vin Winchester is a quintessential boutique hotel in the heart of the city, the first in the Hotel du Vin family, with 24 bedrooms and a charming gilt terrace on the side of Winchester Cathedral.
The role strengthens our sales team on the South Coast, supporting sales strategy, day‑to‑day sales activities, Food & Beverage sales, wedding revenue, corporate accounts, community outreach, National Accounts, social media engagement, and new business initiatives. The position is part‑time, Monday‑Friday with periods of weekend and evening work, requiring on‑site presence at both hotels (2 days a week at each).
You will generate enquiries, maximise conversion, showcase our hotels, and ensure top‑notch service.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies across both hotels.
Drive Food & Beverage and wedding revenue through proactive sales.
Manage a small portfolio of corporate accounts and local business outreach.
Support National Accounts to secure 24‑hour business and promote Corporate Retreat packages.
Champion social media to raise awareness and engagement, collaborating with central marketing.
Work with the M&E teams and cross‑functional staff to bring new ideas that drive business.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven sales experience, preferably within hospitality or food & beverage.
Ability to drive sales and exceed revenue targets with proactive strategies and strong negotiation skills.
Sound knowledge of the hospitality industry, bar and restaurant operations, culinary trends and customer preferences.
Excellent networking and relationship‑building skills with clients and industry professionals.
Exceptional verbal and written communication and persuasive presentation skills.
Self‑motivated, proactive and high‑energy, with a willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Team player capable of thriving in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
Analytical, results‑oriented mindset, able to track performance and adapt strategies.
