MissionVet is a multi-disciplinary veterinary specialty and emergency hospital, and we are currently seeking four full-time ER Veterinary Technicians to help us continue to build our specialty practice and work in Emergency and Inpatient Care. As an essential part of our hospital, our technicians play a vital role, using their skills and expertise to provide exceptional care for patients and compassionate support for clients. Compensation:

• $20 - $23 depending on experience
• $3 hourly overnight differential
• $1 hourly weekend differential

Schedule:

• Full Time
• 2 shift times available
  • 11:00am – 11:00pm (days TBD)
  • 1:00pm – 1:00am (days TBD)
  • Weekend rotations may be necessary to fulfill business needs in the future

Key Responsibilities:
As an ER Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing life-saving care to pets. Your duties include:

• Experience or familiarity with emergency care, including advanced ICU monitoring, CRI calculations, and fluid rate management.
• Assessing and stabilizing critically ill patients while working closely with the veterinary team.
• Administering medications and treatments under the direction of experienced veterinarians.
• Providing compassionate support to concerned pet owners and keeping them informed about their pets' condition.
• Ensuring accurate and detailed medical record-keeping.
• Collaborating with veterinarians and team members to deliver exceptional patient care.

Who We're Looking For:

• Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT) or Skilled Technicians with at least two years of experience.
• Prior experience in Emergency and Critical Care is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus
• The ability to thrive under pressure and make informed decisions in fast-paced situations.
• A genuine passion for animal care and a commitment to patient well-being.
