Experienced Metal Stud Carpenters

Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Metal Stud Carpenters to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal stud framing and a comprehensive understanding of various carpentry disciplines. This role involves working on commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should possess a diverse skill set that includes blueprint reading, fabrication, and installation of various building components. Responsibilities

• Install metal stud framing according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
• Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents
• Measure, cut, and assemble framing components using hand tools and power tools
• Perform drywall installation, plastering, caulking, and finishing work as needed
• Fabricate custom components for specific project requirements
• Install fixtures, doors, siding, roofing materials, and cabinetry with precision
• Handle heavy lifting and perform tasks requiring physical strength and stamina
• Coordinate with other trades such as electrical, plumbing, masonry, and roofing teams
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
• Assist in restoration projects including water damage remediation and mold removal when required

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a metal stud carpenter or in related carpentry fields such as framing or trim carpentry
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and fabrication techniques
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and other construction machinery
• Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, drywall finishing, tile laying, flooring installation, and electrical or plumbing work is preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely
• Knowledge of the restoration industry including water damage restoration and mold remediation is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Valid experience in the restoration industry or siding installation is desirable
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment

Pay: $ $28.64 per hour
