Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Hotel Executive Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel's guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and extensive experience in hospitality housekeeping management. This role is vital in ensuring our guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment that meets the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Manage and train housekeeping staff, including scheduling shifts and delegating tasks
  • Oversee cleaning procedures for guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using industry-standard cleaning techniques
  • Ensure proper floor care including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring types
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies promptly
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities; order supplies as needed
  • Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or event preparations
  • Stay updated on industry best practices related to janitorial services, industrial cleaning, and custodial management

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial supervision within the hospitality industry
  • Strong background in cleaning, floor care, janitorial services, or industrial cleaning environments
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality standards
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
  • Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and other departments
  • Prior experience with housekeeping management systems or related software is preferred
