About Us:

The Coffee Scene with its 3 locations is a locally loved and community-driven in Fayetteville, NC. We are passionate about crafting high-quality coffee and providing a welcoming space for our customers. We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Part-Time Barista to join our team.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare Beverages & Food – Craft high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to company standards.

· Customer Service – Greet customers, take orders, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.

· Cash Handling – Operate the POS system, handle cash transactions, and process payments accurately.

· Maintain Cleanliness – Keep the café area clean, organized, and stocked throughout shifts.

· Assist with Inventory – Monitor stock levels and communicate restocking needs to management.

· Engage with Customers – Create a welcoming atmosphere, answer questions, and recommend menu items.

· Follow Health & Safety Standards – Adhere to all food handling and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications: *ServSafe Certification a PLUS*

· Experience: Previous barista or customer service experience preferred, BUT not required—willing to train the right person

· Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and a passion for coffee.

· Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

· Team Player: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
