We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our technology team. This role is responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimizing our core business software platforms, including Prism HR and related products, with a strong emphasis on IT systems analysis, integration, and process improvement. The Analyst will leverage technical expertise to support payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS functions, ensuring seamless operations and data integrity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, test, and support business software systems, including Prism HR and online benefit enrollment platforms
- Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and security administration for business-critical applications
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software processing issues, collaborating with internal departments and external vendors as needed
- Conduct impact assessments and testing for new software releases, patches, and updates
- Coordinate with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate system configuration and payroll deductions
- Maintain new client onboarding, benefit enrollment system and new hire workflows
- Analyze current business processes and recommend IT-driven solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Serve as a technical contact for software-related issues and questions, providing excellent customer service
- Support client-administered benefits setup
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field—or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in business systems analysis, IT systems administration, or HRIS/benefits system support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot complex system issues
- Experience with system configuration, testing, and data integration in enterprise environments
- Proficiency in MS365 applications; experience with Prism HR, API's, online reporting applications, or similar platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with payroll processing and benefits administration workflows preferred
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and solving problems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
