The Landscape Designer leads the review and development of landscape planning deliverables and designs. This role is essential in ensuring that all landscape architecture projects comply with CPH standards for quality, sustainability, and aesthetic excellence. The Landscape Architect is responsible for designing, planning, and managing a variety of landscape projects, including parks, gardens, commercial properties, and urban spaces. This position collaborates with clients, architects, engineers, and other project teams to create functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments that enhance quality of life and sustainability.

Duties Include
  • Serve as the Landscape Architect for design, permitting, and construction administration of projects.
  • Prepare accurate presentations, designs, details, and construction documents in CAD, including code-compliant landscape planting and hardscape plans.
  • Oversee and mentor the project design team, including engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients.
  • Collaborate with firm landscape architects, architects, project managers, and business development teams to enhance project delivery.
  • Research and implement relevant codes and client requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and utilize CAD standards and templates to streamline design processes.
  • Prepare specifications, review shop drawings, and provide construction administration support.
  • Travel periodically for business development, project management, site investigations, and construction observation, including preparing or reviewing reports and exhibits.
  • Compile construction plans from all disciplines for submission to relevant agencies.
  • Conduct quality control by reviewing documents prepared by others.
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage project scope, proposals, planning, schedules, budgets, and billing.
  • Provide expertise insights and serve as a representative at public hearings and meetings.
