Position Summary
The Senior Human Resources Generalist serves as a key partner to venue leadership and the Support Office, guiding the employee experience across onboarding, employee relations, performance, compliance, training support, and culture-building. This role requires a seasoned HR professional who balances sound judgment with a grounded, people-first approach. You'll be relied on as a calm, thoughtful advisor—someone who can navigate sensitive matters, build trust quickly, and help leaders make balanced, consistent decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & People Support (Primary AOR)
• Serve as the primary HR partner for a portfolio of venues, offering guidance on coaching, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, performance management, and workplace concerns.
• Conduct balanced and thorough investigations, ensuring fair outcomes that align with our core values and leadership principles.
• Support leaders in fostering positive, engaging workplace cultures through approachable, reliable partnership.
• Maintain awareness of venue pulse, team dynamics, and emerging trends to proactively recommend improvements.
Compliance, Policy & Risk Management
• Manage compliance matters including investigations, documentation standards, disciplinary actions, wage and hour practices, and policy adherence.
• Assist in FMLA/ADA coordination.
• Ensure venues maintain compliance with labor regulations.
• Support Workers' Compensation processes and third‑party partners.
HR Operations & Cross‑Functional Work
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring decisions and interview standards.
• Partner with HR Administration on file integrity and compliance documentation.
• Contribute to People Team projects, policy updates, and culture initiatives.
• Analyze people trends and recommend improvements.
• 6–10 years of progressive experience in a high‑functioning Human Resources role.
• Hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal awareness and judgment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities across locations.
• Knowledge of employment law, wage/hour standards, and investigations.
• English/Spanish bilingual a strong plus.
• Ability to travel 5-10%.
