Kitchen - Pastry Baker - Part-Time

We are seeking a skilled and creative Part-time Pastry Baker to support our culinary team in producing high=quality baked goods for daily service, special events and banquets. This role is for someone who is detail-oriented, passionate about pastry arts, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, service driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, bake, and finish a range of pastries, desserts, breads, and specialty items for cafe service, catered functions, banquets, and large-scale events.

Follow standardized recipes and production guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across all products.

Assist with menu prep, including portioning, garnishing, and seasonal feature development.

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment in compliance with food safety and health regulations.

Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and communicate supply needs to leadership.

Support the plating and presentation of of desserts for events and service lines.

Collaborate with the culinary and banquet teams to meet production timelines and event deadlines.

Previous experience in pastry, baking, or commercial food production required; formal pastry training preferred.

Strong understanding of baking techniques, ingredient functions, and kitchen equipment.

Ability to multitask and manager time efficiently in a high-volume environment.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product consistency.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature environments.

ServSafe or food-handler certification (or ability to obtain).
