Duties

• Supervise daily body shop operations, including repair processes, customer interactions, and team coordination
• Manage and schedule technicians to optimize productivity and workflow efficiency
• Oversee vehicle repairs, auto body work, auto painting, auto glass replacement, and detailing to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded
• Ensure proper use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment while maintaining safety protocols
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters and customers to facilitate smooth claims processing and communication
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and work orders for accountability and reporting purposes
• Uphold safety regulations and promote a clean, organized work environment that minimizes hazards

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair shops with a focus on collision repair or auto restoration
• Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance, auto body repair techniques, and automotive systems
• Hands-on experience with auto painting, auto glass installation, detailing, and the use of hand tools and power tools
• Familiarity with auto body repair processes including dent removal, frame straightening, and auto painting techniques
• Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety procedures is essential
• Prior experience in auto restoration or mechanic roles is highly desirable
