Production Worker

Job Summary:

Southern Textiles and Laminating is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Production Workers to join our team. The successful candidates will support the lamination process by inspecting materials, assisting machine operators, batching, and following production schedules to ensure efficient and high-quality output.

This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that values teamwork, precision, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Machine Operators with setup, operation, and monitoring of lamination equipment.
• Inspect raw materials and finished goods for defects, quality standards, and consistency.
• Batching and Material Handling: Accurately prepare and stage materials based on batch requirements.
• Follow Production Schedules and instructions to meet daily production goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Report mechanical issues or quality concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting is a plus.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills and ability to read measurement tools.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple roles.

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday 8:00AM - 6:30PM
• Occasionally Fridays (OT)
