Senior Services Coordinator

The Senior Services Coordinator plays a key role in designing and implementing programs and initiatives across the Services portfolio. This role provides program and project leadership based on business needs, including coaching and onboarding Services Coordinators, developing subject matter expertise to support program delivery across properties or the division, and leading workgroups or special projects.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, solution-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity. They are committed to continuous improvement and have a demonstrated ability to implement programs and partnerships in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

  • Supports program implementation and day-to-day operations across multiple properties, including participation in special projects and service delivery improvements.
  • Coaches and mentors Services Coordinators, coordinates crisis intervention, and ensures appropriate follow-up for moderate to high‑complexity situations.
  • Ensures compliance with mandated reporting requirements and prepares and submits required program documentation to internal and external agencies.
  • Builds and manages strong partnerships with external agencies across multiple properties, aligning services with MidPen's Resident Services goals and criteria, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Promotes cross-team collaboration and visibility by working closely with Resident Services, Property Management, and community partners to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
  • Facilitates community engagement in collaboration with Property Managers, including coordinating partner involvement and supporting community meetings and initiatives.
  • Proactively assesses community needs across multiple properties, manages and promotes resident feedback channels and surveys to monitor customer service, and provides individualized resident support through referrals and coordination of specialized programs.
  • Maintains accurate records, data entry, and timely reporting for multiple properties in compliance with Services' policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Analyzes and communicates data insights across properties, recommending improvements to data collection and reporting processes to support informed decision-making and a culture of learning.
  • Models a "One MidPen" culture by collaborating closely with Property Management, supporting Service Coordinator onboarding, and advocating for the Service Coordinator cohort across teams and projects.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent reading, writing and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to work with underserved populations
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills when working with residents
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft suite and Salesforce
  • Effectively use Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Zoom, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and other technology tools to support interactions with peers and supervisor
  • Satisfactorily pass required background

Education and Experience

  • B.A. or B.S. in Education, Social Work, Sociology and two years' experience or a combination of education and experience
  • Track record of navigating ambiguity and being adaptable and solution-focused in times of change
  • Experience successfully deploying programs in diverse populations and environments and/or with diverse partnerships
  • Experience identifying and implementing improvements in program design or delivery or in operations
  • Experience with or strong interest in coaching and mentoring others

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently perform desk-based computer tasks, frequently sitting
  • Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 15 pounds
  • Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl

Working Conditions

  • Must be available to work 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday; a minimum of one but up to two or more evening(s) until 7:00 PM, and occasional weekends required
  • Ability to travel between properties

Pay Range

$ $35.00 Hourly- Pay based on applicable experience and qualifications
