Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to create a welcoming shopping atmosphere
• Assist shoppers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling to enhance their experience and increase sales
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked neatly on shelves
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of merchandise
• Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and reporting low inventory levels
• Use effective phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Requirements

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently in both English and bilingual settings if applicable
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management
• Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking, organizing displays, and conducting product demos
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cash register operations and sales calculations
