This position can be a great entry-level opportunity for someone interested in the veterinary field, but it is also well-suited for someone who is simply looking for a consistent cleaning and facility support role in a respectful, team-oriented workplace.

Hadlock Veterinary Clinic is a well-established practice serving the Port Hadlock community for many years. We recently expanded to five doctors and moved into a newly renovated, state-of-the-art facility — and keeping that space clean and welcoming is a vital part of what we do.

What You'll Do

This role is cleaning-focused and physically active. Daily responsibilities include:

• Thoroughly cleaning the clinic, including:
• Scrubbing and disinfecting kennels
• Mopping and dusting floors and surfaces
• Doing laundry (towels, bedding, etc.)
• Taking out trash and maintaining waste areas
• Cleaning up occasional potty accidents
• Helping maintain a safe, sanitary environment for patients, clients, and staff
• Optional / for those interested: Assisting the medical team by holding animals for basic procedures such as nail trims or blood draws (training provided)

What We're Looking For

• Someone dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to take pride in keeping the facility clean
• Comfortable working around dogs, cats, and other animals
• No prior veterinary experience required — we're happy to train
• Ability to stay active and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• A positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
• Ability to lift up to ~40 lbs

Schedule & Hours

• Monday through Friday
• Primarily afternoon shifts, approximately 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• Options available for:
• ~30 hours/week (full-time with benefits)
• or Part-time, less than 30 hrs/week
