*Position:* Optometrist
*Location:* Calgary, Alberta, Canada
*About the Role:* We are seeking a highly passionate and skilled Optometrist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As an Optometrist at CARE INC, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or a new graduate, we welcome you to be part of our mission to improve vision health and enhance lives.
*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct thorough eye examinations, including visual acuity, refraction, and ocular health assessments
* Diagnose and manage eye conditions such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia
* Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and other visual aids
* Detect and manage eye diseases, including glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy
* Collaborate with our team of opticians, technicians, and administrative staff
* Educate patients on proper eye health, hygiene, and preventive measures
*Requirements:*
* Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree or equivalent
* Current license as a practicing optometrist.
* Experience in eye exams, diagnosis, and management of ocular diseases
* Proficiency in prescribing eyewear and/or contact lenses
* Excellent patient communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and software necessary for proper eye exams

Pay: $120,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
