Mitigation Technician

The Restoration Group (TRG) is looking for a dependable, hard-working Mitigation Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys physical work, learning new skills, and helping people during emergencies. No certifications required — paid training provided.

Job Summary

As a Mitigation Technician, you will assist with emergency response, water mitigation, and restoration services. You'll work alongside experienced team members, receive on-the-job training, and play a critical role in helping homeowners and businesses recover from unexpected damage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mitigation and restoration services
• Perform water extraction and set up drying equipment
• Support job site operations and cleanup
• Work collaboratively with team members
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers
• Follow safety procedures and company standards

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Customer-focused with a strong work ethic
• Willing to learn and grow within the company
• Honest and aligned with ethical business practices
• Clean criminal background (no felony convictions)

Construction, carpet cleaning, or water extraction experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule Requirements

• Full-time position
• Participation in an on-call rotation
• Availability for some nights, weekends, and holidays as required for emergency services
