CDL Driver Dedicated Regional runs

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently to/from various locations. Dedicated drop/hook overnight runs to the states SC GA TN KY OH PA. Leave out today and returning next day. No touch freight.

Pay: Drivers rate per mile starts at $0.52/mile and increases up to $0.60/mile based on miles driven per week. Hourly pay wage for detention, training, shuttle and day runs. Safety and Performance bonus eligible up to $500 / month.

Our main dispatch terminal is located at 2956 Tucker St. Burlington NC. We are an asset-based carrier with a current daily dispatch of 60+ drivers. Our company is a full logistics provider with capabilities in warehousing/distribution, storage, freight brokerage, and freight transportation (local, dedicated, regional, and OTR lanes).

Requirements

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Ensure the cargo is secured properly before transport.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately.

Experience

• Minimum age of 23.
• Proven experience with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Minimum of (1) one year verifiable tractor/trailer driving experience.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to truck driving and cargo transport.
• Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively.
• Strong time management skills with a focus on punctuality.
• No more than (4) four moving violations (citations and/or warnings) combined in the past (3) three years.
• No DWIs, drug/alcohol violations and/or reckless driving violations in the past five years. No preventable, recordable accident that resulted in an At Fault citation in the past (3) three years.
• No more than (3) three jobs in the past twelve months.
