Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in the US. Based in your local community, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with diverse needs, aligning with our mission to promote dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to clients.
• Monitor and observe patients to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Support clients during community outings and activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Follow all safety protocols, including CPR and first aid procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for all clients.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary working in group homes, assisted living, or similar settings but it is a plus .
• Strong knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and safety protocols such as HIPAA.
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift safely when assisting clients.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is highly desirable.
• CPR certification is a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
