Food Server

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and minimum 1-year experience in food service environments. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively setting, delivering memorable guest interactions while showcasing your culinary knowledge and sales abilities.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such Toast POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
• Provide personalized guest relations to foster a welcoming atmosphere
• Manage multiple tables effectively through strong time management skills
• Ensure guest comfort by responding promptly to requests and resolving issues professionally

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server, is required. Minimum 1-year.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in the food industry
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Excellent communication skills along with basic math proficiency for cashiering and cash handling tasks
• Experience in restaurant settings, including serving, bussing, or host/host roles, is advantageous
• Capable of working efficiently during night shifts or busy periods in a nightclub or restaurant environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a fast-paced setting
