Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Telehealth Obesity Medicine (California Licensed)

Location: Remote (California license required) Schedule: Full time availability preferred but part time availability considered. Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + benefits package (based on role classification)

The Role

We're seeking a 


California‑licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high‑quality virtual care in obesity medicine. You'll be mentored by our co‑founder & CMO, Dr. Jamie Kane, while working alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and health coaches.


What you'll do:

  • Conduct real‑time video visits and follow‑ups for chronic care, remote monitoring, and urgent needs
  • Collaborate with care teams to design individualized treatment plans
  • Provide patient education and counseling to empower healthier choices
  • Document care accurately in our EHR systems
  • Prescribe medications (including controlled substances) in compliance with DEA regulations
  • Uphold clinical protocols and regulatory standards
  • Leverage telehealth platforms and AI‑driven tools to deliver efficient, effective care

What We're Looking For
  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted NP or PA license in California (required) Not Pending or Willing to Obtain
  • Education: Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP program (required)
  • Certification: Board‑certified NP (ANCC/AANP) or NCCPA‑certified PA‑C (preferred)
  • Experience: At least 1 year practicing independently as an NP; telehealth and obesity medicine experience preferred
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem‑solving, and tech‑savvy with EHRs and telehealth platforms
  • Other: Reliable internet and HIPAA‑compliant private workspace
