Duties
- Design and execute personalized behavior management plans tailored to each individual's unique needs and circumstances
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including therapists, educators, and medical professionals—to ensure cohesive support strategies
- Utilize art therapy techniques to facilitate emotional expression and behavioral improvement through creative activities
- Apply principles of psychopharmacology to understand medication effects and coordinate care with prescribing providers
- Provide specialized counseling on gender issues, supporting clients through identity exploration and related challenges
- Monitor progress through regular assessments, adjusting interventions to maximize positive outcomes
- Educate families, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques and best practices for ongoing support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred
- Proven experience in behavior management or therapeutic settings working with diverse populations
- Knowledge of art therapy methods and their application in behavioral interventions
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology principles relevant to behavioral health treatment
- Training or certification in gender issues counseling is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and empower clients of all ages
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
