We are hiring a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. In this versatile role, you will be involved in various aspects of our warehouse operations, contributing to the smooth flow of goods. Your responsibilities may include picking, packing, receiving, stocking, and shipping products, ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our logistics processes. This position requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will be an essential part of our supply chain, supporting our mission to deliver excellence to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of warehouse tasks including picking, packing, sorting, and staging orders.
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize inventory accurately within the distribution center.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and workstations.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals in our fast-paced logistics environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment and contribute to overall success.
- Must be committed to following all safety protocols and wearing necessary PPE.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as required.
