Our San Antonio, Texas facility is seeking a motivated Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory throughout the supply chain. You will be responsible for implementing and managing inventory control procedures, conducting audits, and resolving discrepancies. A strong understanding of logistics and warehouse management systems is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Manage inventory adjustments and maintain accurate records in the WMS.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Oversee the proper storage and handling of inventory to minimize loss and damage.
- Train warehouse staff on inventory control best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and Safety regulations.
- Utilize PPE as required by safety protocols.
- Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to optimize inventory levels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety.
