You will be responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various warehouse machinery, including conveyors, forklifts, and pallet jacks. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on warehouse equipment (conveyors, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently according to manufacturer specifications.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times while performing duties.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including material handling and order fulfillment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other warehouse personnel regarding equipment operation and safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in mechanical or electrical fields preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Commitment to safety, including understanding and adhering to PPE requirements and safe lifting practices.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
