We are seeking a reliable and efficient Order Picker to join our logistics team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by selecting products from our warehouse shelves. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that customers receive exactly what they ordered in a timely manner. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to maintain a smooth and productive workflow. Our commitment to safety is paramount, and all employees are required to adhere to strict safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant physical activity and requires a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately locating and picking products based on order slips or electronic pick lists.
- Verifying product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transporting picked items to the packing or staging areas.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment within the picking zones.
- Following all established safety rules and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Reporting any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to a supervisor immediately.
- Participating in inventory checks and stocktaking as required.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Performing other warehouse support duties as assigned to enhance logistics efficiency.
