We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for our facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position is integral to our warehouse operations, focusing on the safe and efficient movement of materials. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory, and ensuring accurate placement of goods within the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and ensure the forklift is in safe working order.
- Transport raw materials and finished products to designated areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of material movement.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
- Follow all procedures related to logistics and warehouse operations.
- Contribute to a positive and safe working environment.
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Forklift Operator. Valid forklift certification is required. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs). Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures. Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Familiarity with RF scanners is beneficial.
