We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our logistics team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, performing physical inventory checks, and assisting with the organization of warehouse stock. A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of inventory management principles are essential for success. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our inventory levels are accurate, which directly impacts our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Adherence to all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position requires the ability to perform tasks that may involve some manual handling and Lifting. We are committed to a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock for easy access and identification.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Generate inventory reports as requested.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Identify and report any damaged or expired stock.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a related warehouse/logistics role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
