You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your role will involve using scanning equipment to track inventory and ensure order accuracy. We believe in fostering a safe and productive workplace, providing all necessary training and equipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product information to ensure correct items and quantities are selected.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper picking and tracking procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Meet established picking and packing performance metrics.
- Participate in regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required. Ability to perform repetitive lifting and bending. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic understanding of inventory management systems is a plus. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all logistics protocols.
