Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stocktakes.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and promote a safety-conscious culture.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Manage shipping and receiving schedules to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and Logistics .
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to train and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of workplace Safety .
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Capacity for occasional moderate Lifting and physical tasks.
- Must be able to wear and utilize all required PPE .
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
