We are hiring a Receiving Clerk for our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the first stage of our supply chain – receiving goods into the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include the accurate unloading, verification, and processing of all incoming shipments. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to Safety are essential. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that inventory is accurately recorded and staged for putaway. This position is key to maintaining the integrity of our inventory and supporting our overall logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload incoming deliveries from vendors and carriers.
- Match received items against purchase orders and packing lists, verifying quantities and product information.
- Inspect all incoming goods for damage or defects and document any issues.
- Accurately input receiving information into the inventory management system.
- Assign appropriate labels or tags to received inventory.
