Join our growing team as a Warehouse Worker in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! We are looking for motivated individuals to contribute to the efficient operations of our distribution center. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in various tasks critical to the movement and storage of goods. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to Safety. You will handle incoming and outgoing shipments, assist with inventory management, and ensure the warehouse remains organized and productive. This position is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring that products reach their destinations smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory.
- Sort and place warehouse stock into designated locations.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (certification may be required for some equipment).
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all Safety protocols.
- Properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with loading outbound shipments.
- Identify and report any damages or discrepancies in inventory.
- Support the overall logistics flow of the warehouse.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned, including sweeping, tidying, and light maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, involving frequent Lifting, standing, walking, and bending.
- Must be able to Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards.
