Join our team as a Warehouse Associate in Boston, Massachusetts, and play a vital role in our daily operations. This position is hands-on and requires individuals who are energetic, organized, and committed to safety. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. Understanding the flow of goods within our logistics network is important, as is maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Accurately stock products in designated areas.
- Process customer orders by picking items and packing them for shipment.
- Operate warehouse machinery, such as forklifts, safely and efficiently.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe, following all safety standards and PPE requirements.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and improve logistics processes.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for long hours.
- Proficiency with scanning devices and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
- Experience operating forklifts is a significant advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work shifts as required.
