Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage our warehouse operations in Indianapolis, Indiana. This pivotal role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of logistics, and the ability to ensure efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all warehouse activities. As the Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, optimizing workflows, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling and task assignment.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy through regular audits and system updates.
  • Implement and enforce all warehouse safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage and Lifting guidelines.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency and productivity in logistics.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
  • Maintain equipment and facility in good working order, coordinating repairs as needed.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role within logistics.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and logistics best practices.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations, including OSHA requirements and the importance of PPE.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting up to 50 pounds, when necessary.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
